Hollywood Residences Turtle-Friendly Lighting Project
This condominium exterior lighting project addressed the needs of residents and a sensitive coastal setting. The scope focused on the pool deck and rear yard at the Residences in Hollywood.
Location: Hollywood, Florida
Documented scope: Photometric studies; removal of unsuitable fixtures; more than 60 turtle-friendly luminaires

The project need
The property’s existing exterior lighting needed to be reconsidered for a coastal wildlife area while providing appropriate nighttime visibility for residents. Fixture appearance alone was not enough: the project also needed a coordinated approach to distribution and glare.
What the project included
The published project scope describes photometric studies, removal of fixtures that were unsuitable for the coastal setting, and installation of more than 60 turtle-friendly luminaires. The design considered the pool deck and rear yard as connected outdoor spaces.
The result
Electryfy’s project account describes reduced glare and light pollution together with an improved nighttime atmosphere. The completed installation illustrates the role of fixture optics and a planned layout in a coastal lighting upgrade.
Planning a similar coastal project
Bring photos of existing fixtures, a site plan, mounting heights, and a description of the areas residents use after dark. Share any property-specific lighting notices or requirements already received. Product selection and installation should follow a site-specific review; a fixture used at another property does not by itself establish suitability for your location.
