Pompano Beach Parking Lot LED Lighting Upgrade
A community parking lot in Pompano Beach needed better nighttime lighting and a more efficient equipment plan. LOT’s project archive documents a renovation that combined a lighting analysis with new poles and LED fixtures.
Location: Pompano Beach, Florida
Documented scope: Aerial lighting analysis; new poles and LED lighting; area, wall-pack, and canopy fixtures

The project need
The existing lighting left portions of the property poorly illuminated and used older equipment. The goal was to review the site as a whole, identify dark spots, and improve the placement of light around the buildings and parking areas.
What the project included
The project team used aerial drone imagery as part of the lighting analysis. New poles and LED lights were installed around building perimeters. The documented equipment categories include pole-mounted area lights, wall packs, and round canopy fixtures, with lower listed wattages than the equipment they replaced.
The result
The project archive records an improvement in nighttime illumination following the LED renovation. The photos provide a visual record of the site; they should not be used to predict another property’s light levels or utility savings.
Planning a similar parking lot upgrade
Prepare a site plan, fixture and pole counts, approximate mounting heights, operating hours, and photos of dark or problem areas. Note access constraints and whether poles, foundations, wiring, or controls also need attention. A project-specific comparison can then separate fixture replacement from a wider electrical renovation.
