Hotel Turtle Lighting

Sea Turtle nesting season in south Florida typically runs from late March through October. In order to protect the numerous endangered turtles which nest on Florida beaches, beachfront properties must follow special lighting regulations in order to comply with ecological laws and avoid fees associated with code enforcement. This Miami property was ready to update their exterior lighting system, but they wanted contemporary lighting options to suit their building aesthethic. Our energy saving turtle-friendly LED lighting fixtures did the job to light this property beautifully - the enjoyment of residents and turtles alike!.

LED Turtle Lighting

low placed & shielded fixtures facing downward reduces skyglow which pollutes starry night views

The amber color gives off a long light wavelength which is safe for turtles

The energy saved by using LED reduces the fixtures carbon footprint
